FIDDLING AROUND CANADA FOR 150 YEARS (download poster)

St Paul’s United Church, 123 Main Street East, Milton (corner of Main and James Streets)
Fiddling Around Canada for 150 Yearsby the Puslinch Fiddle Orchestra and featuring music by Don Messer, Ned Landry, Al Cherney, Stompin’ Tom and the Hockey Song, and more. There’ll be door prizes and a reception to follow. Adults $20, Students $10, 6 and under are free, tickets available from the church office, Nancy Whitnell and Jim Hawkins. All proceeds to the work of St Paul’s.

ON THE WAY TO BETHLEHEM NATIVITY PAGEANT (download poster)
Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings, December 1, 2 & 3, 2017 – 6:30 to 8:30pm
Country Heritage Park, 8560 Tremaine Rd., Milton

“On the Way to Bethlehem” tells the Christmas story in an outdoor, living pageant. On arrival, visitors will enter the large reception area (Gambrel Barn), enjoy the music of the massed choir, and when ready, groups will travel the road to Bethlehem with a “guide”.  On their 30–45 minute journey, visitors will witness King Herod’s court, interact with Roman soldiers, shepherds, magi, innkeepers and fellow travelers to reveal the Christmas story. At the end of their journey, visitors will follow a lamplight walkway to the refreshment area, have their passports stamped and be given a wagon ride to the exit. This nativity pageant is the signature event of Milton Area Christian Churches Working Together and 2017 will mark the 16th year this event is staged. NATIVITY DISPLAY AND CHRISTMAS TEA

The Ladies' Fellowship Group will host a nativity display featuring Jane Parker's collection of nativities from around the world.  Jane is from St. David's Presbyterian Church in Campbellville. Some nativities from the Boston Ladies' Group will also be on display. Enjoy a cup of tea and goodies as well. Cost of event is $7.00 with proceeds going to local charities and The Darling House for Kids.
